How I love such little things...

I was listening to a recorded lecture by one of the most boring lecturer (or so I thought)... Well half of the time I invent excuses so not to go to his lectures, and the other half when I was there I ended up doodling on whatever paper I could get my pen on.

And today, I was dreading the fact of having to spend a couple of hours listening to him, inevitable as I skip most of his lecture =p, but it turn out to be rather enjoyable. He was explaining something about how to measure tendon stiffness, and come out with several equation bla bla...

And I quoted, "Engineer, like the medical profession, they like to use terminology that nobody understand so that they got exclusive providence over it. So instead of calling this thing stiffness, they called it the Young's modulus or modulus of elasticity so that nobody's know what they're talking about. But essentially it just mean, stiffness. And they even use symbol capital E so that you wouldn't realise that it actually means stiffness."

Haha..and it was delivered in a very off-handed manner that unless you listen carefully to him you wouldn't realise he possess such sense of humor. But I should know, his office was fill with it, sarcastic clips from magazine or the sort..oh well, now looking forward to the rest of the lectopia ^-^
